I have always been a sucker for events based on historical life or reenactments and I just heard of this festival that’s happening in Grand Haven today and tomorrow on Harbor Island: The 15th Annual Feast of the Strawberry Moon. (The name alone is interesting, right?)
This historical festival is put on by the Tri-cities Historical Museum and celebrates what life was like in the 18th century on the banks of the Grand River. There will be reenactments, period piece crafts, food, drinks and lots of family friendly fun! So, if you are interested in seeing what daily life was like when fur trading on the Grand was all the rage or need to take the kiddies somewhere – check this one out!
Events goes from 9am-5pm today and 9am-4pm tomorrow and it’s five bucks a person to enjoy the event. You can get the whole list of events here. #grabgr
